To get to Cambodia from Vietnam, make your way to Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon.
Reasons to get to Cambodia from Vietnam:
a) Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon, is only less than 2 hours away to Cambodia at the Vietnam Moc Bai border. And from the Moc Bai border, Phnom Penh is only another 3 hours away by bus. With Cambodia being so close to Vietnam, why not take the chance to ‘conquer’ another country while you are touring Vietnam?
b) It cost only US$10 for an air conditioned tourist bus to get from Vietnam to Cambodia.
c) At the very least, cross over to Cambodia to check out Tuol Sleng Museum, better known as the S21 Prison and the almighty Angkok Wat (see more photos here). I promise you that you won’t regret visiting these 2 places…

There are so many things to talk about the Allez Boo bar and cafe: they are one of Saigon most popular if not the most popular bar, Allez Boo is one of the few bars and cafes in Saigon that opens 24 hours a day, their distinctive look with the whole place made out of bamboo and the young lady boss who owns Allez Boo is also the owner of 2 other very popular bars in Saigon backpacker’s hostel area. Above all, my favorite thing about Allez Boo is that it is located at the corner of 2 highly concentrated roads of Pham Ngu Lao Street and De Tham Street. The Saigon Zoo is certainly not one of a world class standard but it makes a fun outing for the kids in the not so child-friendly Ho Chi Minh City. Another plus point about going to the Saigon Zoo is you can also visit the Botanica Gardens, Hung Vuong Temple and the History Museum which are all within the same compound.
