Occasionally, a local Vietnam band puts on free performance at the Saigon Opera House, usually on a Sunday morning.
Caught this old man completely enjoying the Saigon Opera House performance. He was singing and waving his hands around as if conducting the band.

1. There are no free performances at night at the Saigon Opera House. It usually happen only in the day time and it’s like only once a month.
2. No idea about those sport shoes. Try the alley besides the Ben Thanh Market. The whole stretch there sells shoes. Hope you’ll find one there for you.
3. Many food stalls in the Ben Thanh night market sell seafood. I don’t have personal experience with seafood there but I often read that the prices are reasonable.
